In this situation, you will have to pay 20% of the charges and this will be after you meet the Part B deductible.  Even so, you should note that Medicare will provide cover for this situation only once per year. Another thing to note is that Medicare does provide cover for cataracts.  It is important to note that Medicare do provide treatment and diagnosis for cataracts. Similar to other cover, you will have to pay for your Medicare advantage plan A as well as Part B deductible. In a situation where you have cataract surgery, your Medicare part B will take care for the cost of one pair of prescription eyeglasses or contact lenses. 

In conclusion, Medicare Advantage plans do provide different types of covers for eye care and other related conditions. However, it is important for you to contact your Medicare Advantage plan provider to determine the type of cover that will suit you the best.  You should note that some covers could be cheap, but they come with a higher out of the pocket costs. Another thing to note that some could have higher premiums, but they come with excellent packages Generally Original Medicare would have larger out of pocket costs compared to Medicare Advantage plans.
